Southern Breeze developed from the passion we have for these amazing retrievers, as well as the training, people and lifestlyle they have introduced us to along the way. Our goal is to train our dogs to their fullest potential in the AKC and UKC hunt test program. Then  breed only an occasional litter that we feel will improve the breed by producing healthy pups with extreme intelligence, trainablility, style, and an intense desire to retrieve. The dogs in our breeding program have superior field pedigrees and will be tested for such health issues as Hips and elbows, eyes, CNM, and EIC.  Please follow the links provided to learn more about these issues and why we at Southern Breeze feel strongly about only producing puppies that are as genetically sound as possible.
